Freeze your own ice candles with this innovative candle light kit from Mathmos.  Available with chrome or copper finish.

Mathmos Thaw combines fire and ice to captivating effect.  It's both a stylish modern candlelight and a unique ice sculpture, fit to grace any table top, shelf or mantlepiece.

Simply fill Thaw's mould with water and place it in the freezer for 8 hours.  Once frozen, the ice candle sits above the mould and its polished stainless steel collar while it's illuminated by the tea light candle within.

As the ice thaws, the water melts back into the mould below (preventing any puddles), taking about the same time to gradually dissolve as it takes the tealight candle to burn out - approximately 3hrs.

Each time you enjoy a Mathmos Thaw ice candle, the shape of the ice, the way it melts and the way it casts its shimmering candlelight will be different, making Thaw a stylish, truly unique lighting experience.

Mathmos Thaws are available with either a chrome or copper finish.  Each Thaw is supplied with a stainless steel collar and tray, an opaque white silicon mould, a plastic ice cap and one tea light candle.  Combine multiple Thaw Ice Candles for maximum effect.
