The Aurora Touch has three settings: You can set it to change colour every hour, on the hour, you can make it show off with a dazzling light show, quickly phasing through various dynamic colours, or you can switch the LED light off (to standby mode) to conserve battery power.

In standby mode, a quick tap will light the Aurora up long enough to catch the time in the wee small hours; The color it lights up depends on the hour - "Blimey! I can't believe it's quarter past blue already..."
