The Aurora Touch, by gadgeteers Mayhem, is the coolest, most colourful alarm clock we've encountered.  It's a versatile and tactile gadget that's gorgeous to look at and great value for money.

With 3 light modes, it's ideal for all occasions: In 'touch' mode the light stays off to conserve power until the Aurora is tapped.  It then lights for a few seconds, illuminating the time and corresponding colour.  In 'night light' mode it glows continuously and automatically changes colour every hour, on the hour.  In 'demo' mode the Aurora shows off with a captivating colour-phasing LED light show.

Though the Aurora is undoubtedly funky, it's also a highly functional clock: Time and date functions display clearly on its large back-lit digital LDC display, and its alarm - a double whammy of sound and colourful flashing - will make sure you wake when you need to.
